Tung Chee Hwa (born in 7 July 1937) was the first Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. His family manage a huge ship transport company. The Hong Kong, UK government (were replaced in 1997) invited him became the member of staff . In 1984 he also took part in talks between China,UK. They discuss about the foreground of Hong Kong. In 1984 the UK government promised return Hong Kong to China in 1997. Tung Chee Hwa started his term of the first Chief Executive in 1997,7,1. However, He wasn't won popular support in Hong Kong because many HK people worried he will make the Hong Kong systems like China. The part of these Hong Kong people begin to move oversea, like UK and Canada. Many politics party in HK still function in HK legislative council after 1997. They propagate that Chinese government is very dictatorship and Tung Chee Hwa listens to “his grandfather” Chinese center gov all time. UK gov also propagate these things to HK people before 1997. 50% HK poeple feel scare about Chinese center government in the beginning of few years. They parade in the street and want free . Tung Chee Hwa was busy in 1998 financial storm. He worried Hong Kong economy will destroy by that. Then he found help to Chinese center gov , they
distributed billion of fund to safe HK economy. Many HK people change their mind to Center gov and Region gov. In 2003 SARS attack HK.Chinese center government forbid mainland people enter HK ,but allow HK people pass to mainland. These measures make huge loss of mainland economy but take care of Hk people's health. Many counter-virs goods and materials send from mainland. At last all SARS virs disappear. 2Years later. Tung Chee Hwa felt too tired of this job and resign.
